External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj announced India’s assistance package in Kathmandu during the International Conference on Nepal’s Reconstruction orgaised by the Nepalese Govt for carrying out rehabilitation and reconstruction of the country which was shocked by a devastating earthquake on April 25 which resulted in a massive loss of life and property.
India will be providing an assistance of 1 billion $ to the quake-hit Nepal. She further said that India’s assistance to the Nepal stands at 2 billion $ in next 5 years.
Sushma Swaraj is on a 2 day visit to Nepal.
